UDHAMPUR, June 22: Thieves struck a Tea Stall and an electronic goods shop in front of Municipal office Udhampur, here last night.
According to Mool Raj, proprietor of the Abi Electronics shop, mobile phones sets and some cash were stolen by the thieves while proprietor of Sharma Tea Stall, Shiv Kumar said that around Rs 5000 cash was stolen from his shop.
Thieves sneaked into both the shops after breaking the shutter and decamped with the cash as well as mobile phone sets.
The matter into light this morning and on getting information about the same, Udhampur police reached the spot and registered a case for investigations.
