Two killed after vehicle plunges into gorge on Mughal Road

SRINAGAR: Two persons were killed when their vehicle met with an accident on historic Mughal road, connecting Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region on Tuesday, official sources said this evening.

They said a vehicle from Shopian to Bufliaz skidded off the road and plunged into a deep 40 metre gorge at Ratta Chamb bridge.

Two persons were identified as Nazarat Ali and Mushtaq Ahmed, residents of Mendhar died in the accident. (AGENCIES)
