Two inter state drug peddlers arrested with ganja

JAMMU, May 1: Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested two inter state drug peddlers along with 16 kilograms of ganja.
As per official spokesman, a team from police station GRP during checking near Post Office at Railway Station intercepted two persons to stop for checking, as they were hiding themselves from the cops.
During checking, police recovered 16 kilograms of ganja from their possession and arrested them.
The accused have been identified as Bhola Kumar Yadav, son of Jagdish Rai and Sanjeev Kumar Paswan, son of Laxhmi Dass Paswan, both residents of Bihar.
A case under FIR Number 7/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against them at Police Station GRP Jammu and investigation started.
Police team headed by ASI Sarwar Hussain made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Police Station GRP Jammu Inspector Vinod Kumar, SDPO Railways Jammu Devinder Singh and SSP Railways Mohammad Irshad.
