JAMMU, June 16: Two persons were injured today in the collision of a van and a Varna car at Channi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a van bearing registration No JK02BK-3735 collided this evening with a Varna car having registration No JK02BD-6003 at Stadium Morh, Channi, resulting into serious injuries to both the occupants of the vehicles.
One of the injured identified as MK Gupta, son of DM Gupta, a resident of Channi, was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while the other identified as Ashish Jain son of Sat Pal Jain, a resident of Kunjwani Bypass, was rushed to JK Medicity, Jammu.
In this concern, a case FIR No 55/2015 has been registered at police station Channi and both the vehicles involved in the accident seized. Further investigation in the case is going on.
