RAMBAN, Jan 12: Two persons got injured, when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a Mahindra Bolero vehicle at Dalwas bye-pass, falling under the jurisdiction of Chanderkote police station.
As per police sources, two persons namely Rohit Khajuria, son of Vijay Sagar and Sonu Kumar, son of Sadhu Ram, both residents of Khandal Dhalwas were injured, when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a without registration number Mahindra Bolero car at Dalwas.
After getting information, police team from Chanderkote police station led by SHO Inspector Manzoor Ahmed Kohli rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Ramban, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The car was seized and the driver identified as Zaheer Abass, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Khari, tehsil Banihal.
A case under FIR Number 5/16 under Section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered and investigation started.
