JAMMU: Two independent candidates including a refugee leader filed nomination on Wednesday for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat.
The nominations were filed to Returning Officer Ramesh Kumar here at DC Office. First nomination was filed by PoJK Refugee leader Rajiv Chunni as an Independent candidate whereas second nomination was filed by Syed Aqib Hussain from newly formed Independent Peoples Party for Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency.
So far two candidates have filed their nominations which will continue till March 25. Scrutiny of nominations will take place on March and the last date for withdrawal of candidature will be on March 28. (AGENCIES)
