JAMMU, Jan 20: Police arrested two impersonators from Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar.
As per police sources, the staff appointed for the conduct of class 10th examination (Bi-Annual) at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar noticed that two persons identified as Shubam Gupta, son of Naresh Gupta of Chatha and Amandeep Singh, son of Gurdeep Singh of Qasim Nagar were appearing in the examination in place of two students namely Rahul Gupta, son of Naresh Gupta of Chatha and Rabjot Singh, son of Waryam Singh of Karan Bagh.
The staff informed the matter to Gandhi Nagar police station and a police team rushed to the spot and arrested the impersonators namely Shubam Gupta and Amandeep Singh.
A case under FIR number 15/15 under 419 and 420 RPC and 2/5 PUE has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gandhi Nagar police station Inspector Paramjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Harjeet Singh, SP South Rahul Malik and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
