Two hurt as dumper hits BSF vehicle

JAMMU, Nov 30: Two officials of Border Security Force (BSF) were injured today when a dumper hit their official vehicle in Kanachak area of city outskirts.
Police sources said that a speeding dumper hit a BSF vehicle at Old Kanachak near 171 BSF Battalion post and injured a BSF ASI identified as Vijay Singh (56) son of Suraj Bhan and a Constable Deepak Rai (26) son of Ram Krit Rai, who were travelling in the BSF vehicle.
They said both the injured BSF officials were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while Kanachak Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
“The injured BSF officials were presently posted in 171 BSF Battalion based at Old Kanachak,” sources added.
