DODA, May 27: Police here today in Gandoh area arrested two peddlers with charas like substance.
Cops from Police Station Gandoh while on vehicle checking duty in Tipri area of Kahaljugassar in Gandoh, noticed two persons moving towards Gowari on Motor Cycle bearing registration number JK06-7847.
When they were stopped for checking, they tried to flee from the spot but cops apprehended them.
They were identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Ali Mohd and Nissar Ahmed, son of Manwar Din Mir, both residents of Soti, Gandoh.
Police recovered Cannabis (charas) like substance from them during their personal search.
A case in this regard was registered in FIR number 60/2024 under relevant provisions of NDPS Act at Police Station Gandoh and investigation started.
