UDHAMPUR, May 26: Tikri police arrested two persons along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, police team from Tikri police post intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered 45 pouches of illicit liquor and nabbed two persons, who have been identified as Uttam Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal and Puran Chand, son of Indru, both residents of Muttal.
The accused were carrying the illicit liquor for sale among the residents of their native village on exorbitant rates.
A case under FIR number 72/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and investigation started.
