Two held with huge consignment of intoxicant capsules

JAMMU, Sept 21: Two drug peddlers were arrested today with a huge consignment of intoxicant capsules from Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a surprised naka was laid this evening by police party from police station Bhau Fort at Railway Bridge Narwal.
During naka checking, police stopped one Alto car bearing registration number JK02GB-4935 and during search police recovered 13500 intoxicant capsules from the possession of two occupants of the car namely Vikram Jandyal alias Vicky son of Banarasi Dass, a resident of Shiv Nagar (Jammu) and Ajay Kumar Sahney son of Ram Saroop Sahney, a resident of H No 1272, Gurha, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
During preliminary enquiry the youths revealed that they had brought this consignment from Delhi and were planning to sell it to the youths of Jammu. Both the accused were arrested on spot.
In this connection, a case FIR No 237/2015 U/S 8/20/21 NDPS Act was registered at police station Bahu Fort. The arrests were made by SHO Trikuta Nagar, Inspector Naveen Angral under the supervision of SDPO East, Rafiq Manhas, SP South, Udhay Bhaskar Billa and SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
