Two held with charas like substance

JAMMU, Mar 14: Domana police today arrested two persons with 320 gram of charas like substance.
Police sources said that a team of police station Domana led by PSI Anoop Kotwal, during checking of vehicles at Patoli, two persons sitting in a passenger auto which was coming from Jammu side, tried to run away from the spot, on seeing the police.
They said noticing suspicious movement the police party overpowered both the persons namely Khalil Ahmed son of Fareed Ahmed of Gool (Ramban) and Amajid Ali son of Junaid Ali of Souh (tehsil Mahore, district Reasi).
“During personal search of Khalil Ahmed, one polythene packet containing 18 challies wrapped in Maize Husk having charas like Narcotic substance was recovered from his possession and on search of Amajid Ali, one polythene packet containing 5 challies wrapped in Maize husk was recovered,” sources said.
They said that a case FIR number 78/2021 under 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at police station Domana and both the accused arrested.
The arrest and recovery took place under the supervision SHO police station Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
