RAMBAN, May 8: Sangaldaan Police arrested two drug peddlers along with cannabis and cash around Rs 3 lakh.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Post Sangaldaan intercepted two pedestrians, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 117 grams cannabis and cash amounting to Rs 3 lakh from their possession and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Gulam Mohd, son of Abdul Gani of Dharam and Mohammd Ayub, son of Gul Mohd of Gagarsula District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 42/2022 under Section 8/20/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gool and investigation set into motion.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Sangaldaan PSI Aakash Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gool Nihar Ranjan and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
