Two-days RSS meet begins at Katra

KATRA, Nov 26: The two -days long meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and its sister organizations started here this evening to deliberate over prevailing situation and functioning of the various organs of Sangh including its political wing BJP.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Krishan Gopal, Seh Sarkarivah RSS. The meeting among others was attended by Union Minster, Dr Jitendra Singh, Prant Pracharak RSS, Rupesh Kumar, BJP J&K president, Ravinder Raina, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Deputy CMs, Dr Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, BJP general secretary (Org), Ashok Koul, party general secretary and former Minister, Sunil Sharma former Minister, Sat Sharma besides heads of various organs of Sangh.
In his introductory address Dr Krishan Gopal asked the Sangh activists to dedicate themselves to public service which has been the main objective of Sangh and foster bonds with the people to regain their faith and confidence.
He also took a complete feedback from the heads of all units of Sangh and their working in the UT of J&K. He also discussed the prevailing situation in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh with them. The two -days meeting will conclude tomorrow evening. Today two sessions were held while three sessions will be held tomorrow in which future programmes will be discussed and agenda for future will be set.
