KISHTWAR, Nov 27: Two days free Cardiac and Diabetic camp organized by Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC Limited in association with the doctors of Medanta-The Medicity, Gurgaon at Project Hospital concluded here today.
The camp was inaugurated by Baseer Ahmed Khan, District Development Commissioner in presence of Arvind Bhat, General Manager, NHPC Limited, Ajay Mathur, Chief Engineer (Civil), Dr GM Naqeeb, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Dr Sham Prasad Gupta, Chief Medical Officer, senior officers from NHPC Limited and locals.
Speaking on the inaugural function, Baseer Ahmed Khan said that Dulhasti Power Station has brought the super specialists of the prestigious institute of the country in the field of medicine at the door steps of locals of a remote area like Kishtwar and they should visit this camp for being benefitted.
General Manager, Dulhasti Power Station presented the welcome address and said that that in view of the increase in cardiac and diabetic problems in the society, the camp was organized for the locals of under CSR-SD Programme of the Power Station.
Free medicines were given to the patients during the camp. In all, 476 patients were screened and checked with ECG and blood sugar tests and echocardiography of more than 200 patients was done.
