Two-day Thoracic CME concludes

JAMMU, Nov 16: Organized by Department of CTVS, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, the 2-day midterm IACTS Thoracic CME concluded here today.

The highlight of 2nd day of the CME was skill lab with hands on training for more than 75 doctors especially Post Graduates and Registrars of GMC Jammu in VATS vascular suturing techniques, Robotics and ECMO which would benefit the skill enhancement.
The skill lab was coordinated by eminent Robotic Surgeon from England Dr Ali Zamir Khan along with his team. In addition, very important sessions were held on Lung Transplant-ation, Thoracic Cardiac Surgery, Man-aging of Emphysematous Lung and Thoracic Surgery in India.
The conference was inaugurated yesterday by Dr Sunanda Raina, Principal, GMC Jammu in the presence of visiting delegates and Faculty, Post Graduates and Registrars of CTVS Department of GMC Jammu.
Dr Arvind Kohli, organizing secretary of the Conference, presented formal vote of thanks.
