JAMMU : Two-day meeting of executive committee of BJP commenced in Katra town of Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting will be chaired by the state BJP president and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma. National General Secretary Ram Madhav, MP Avinash Rai Khanna and other BJP leaders will be attending the meeting which will begin this afternoon. According to party sources, prevailing political situation and issues related to coalition partner PDP would also be part of discussion in the meeting. Prof Hari Om, who is political advisor to BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit president Jugal Kishore Sharma, told that he had requested the state president to raise the issues and concerns he had expressed in a letter addressed to the BJP national president Amit Shah. Prof Om yesterday in a letter to Mr Shah had appealed to snap ties with the PDP in the interest of the party and the nation as the situation in Jammu and Kashmir after having alliance with PDP ”is not favourable”.
