Two arrested with stolen vehicle

JAMMU, Feb 3: Bahu Fort Police arrested two persons with stolen vehicle.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Shabir Ahmed, son of Raaj Ali of Sandhi stating that his auto bearing registration number JK02CL-7818 was stolen from Panama Chowk area.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 29/2022 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team led by SHO Police Station Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali was constituted under the supervision of SDPO City East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari were constituted.
The team did strenuous efforts and with the help of analysis of CCTV cameras footages of the area along with timely human intervention, finally nabbed the vehicle lifters.
The arrested persons were identified as Raiz Ahmed, son of Inayat Ali and Rashid Ali alias Kalu, son of Faqir Ali, both residents of Palpard Raghoora District Jammu.
On their disclosure, stolen auto load carrier was recovered.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
