UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: Police arrested two persons along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Udhampur laid a naka at Jakheni and main bazaar here and apprehended two persons along with 90 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested persons were identified as Suram Chand, son of Deviya of Narsoo District Udhampur and Surinder Singh, son of Rattan Singh of Tikri, District Udhampur.
Cases under FIR Numbers 623/2020 and 624/2020 under Section 48(A Excise Act have been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started.
