DODA, Apr 11: Bhalla Police arrested two persons for manufacturing illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Bhalla led by PSI Ankush Sharma under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal raided at two places in Sangroo area and arrested two persons for manufacturing illicit liquor. Three litres of lahan and about 60 litres of lahan along with utensils used for manufacturing illicit liquor were recovered and seized.
The arrested persons were identified as Diwan Raj, son of Prem Nath and Kuldeep Kumar, son of Ghulab Chand, both residents of Shangroo, Bhalla District Doda.
Two separate FIRs were registered at Police Station Bhaderwah against the arrested persons under Excise Act and investigation has been taken up.
