JAMMU, Mar 28: Two persons injured in separate road mishaps today succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, a man identified as Tilak Raj son of Munshi Ram, resident of Gho Rakawala, suffered serious injuries yesterday when a scooty on which he was travelling, got slipped at Vijaypur in Samba district. He said that the injured was undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu and today at about 9.45 AM, he succumbed to his injuries.
He said after completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
“Similarly, an unknown man of age about 38 years this morning succumbed to his injuries at GMCH, where he was undergoing treatment since March 24 for his injuries which he had suffered in a road accident at Kunjwani in city outskirts”, he said, adding body was shifted to mortuary of the hospital for identification/ postmortem.
