JAMMU, Mar 10: J&K Teacher’s Welfare Association has urged the Education Minister Nayeem Akhter to introduce Smart Classes System in Government Primary and Elementary Schools from the next academic year.
President  TWA,  Jasmeet Singh Madaan  has urged the Education Minister to adopt atleast one Primary and one Middle School in each zone in J&K State on experimental basis and introduce Smart Class System with full-fledged infrastructure and complete hygienic facility coupled with wide publicity in newspapers and TVs for awareness of general public. This will surely be able to attract the attention and gain confidence of general public towards Government schools and there will be an overwhelming response to this initiative, he added.
Another demand putforth by the Teacher’s Welfare Association is the use of CFL bulbs/tubes in every school of J&K state and initiate measures to make every school Eco-friendly.
