JAMMU, Dec 1: Expressing serious concern over the alarming fall in GDP, former Legislator and senior Congress leader Ashok Sharma has said that trust deficit and social link- breakage is playing havoc on national economy.
“Pakora economics is no alternative to stop economic recession and unrest among unemployed youth coupled with hollow slogans of providing 2 crore employment,” Ex-MLA Kalakote said.
Sharma, who is also national coordinator, AICC Vichar Vibhag, said that economic slowdown admitted by the Union Finance Minister and denial of the country leading towards economic recession recently, without any definite mechanism and economic strategy to check economic depression leading towards emergency like situation, is the outcome of unmindful and casual approach towards financial management.
He stressed upon the Union Government to shun un-strategic and non-planned future actions like that of demonetization, industrial shut down effecting core sectors like crude oil, steel, cement, electricity, fertilizer and natural gas.
AICC member stressed upon the Prime Minister of India and Union Finance Minister to formulate National Economic Policy, pooling the expert minds of the world known economists of India to ensure economic reforms and stability to come out of the deep crisis.
