JAMMU, Oct 5: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested a trucker along with 19 kilograms of poppy straw.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station laid a naka near Suketar and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AT-2717.
During checking police team recovered 19 kilograms of poppy straw from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Gurudev Singh, son of Daya Singh, a resident of Gho Manhasa district Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 170/2020 under section 8/15/25 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation started.
