JAMMU, Feb 14: Rich tributes were paid to Pulwama martyrs, who attained martyrdom last year on this day.
Ramisht College of Education Basohli organized a gathering including students of 4th semester along with teaching personnel and paid tributes to the soldiers martyred in Pulwama attack last year. In this gathering, both the teachers as well as student of 4th semester lit candles in order to pay tribute to them.
Government Nursing College Gandhi Nagar, Jammu observed Martyr’s Day in the memory of those brave CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in the massive terror attack in Pulwama on 14th February 2019. Students observed the martyr’s day with candle march, slogans, banner and cards with positive and peaceful messages. A speech was given by the Principal Prof Indra Moza of Government Nursing College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Students of the Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School paid tribute to the brave martyrs, who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack last year.
Students of Ved Mandir School along with prominent persons paid tributes to the Pulwama martyrs. The participants lit candles at Dogra Shaurya Samarak. On the occasion President Ved Mandir Sudesh Pal Gupta, Sachiv Pawan Baddu, social worker Nagar Maal and many others were present.
Jammu West Assembly Movement held anti-Pak protest to pay tributes to the Pulwama martyrs. The protestors burned the effigies of Pakistan Prime Minister and militants. On the occasion, Sunil Dimple President of the Movement demanded strict action against Pakistan. Prominent persons present were Chaman Mehra, Dev Raj, Mukesh, Jetinder Gupta, Naresh sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Aditi Gupta, Kala Kumar, Sadam Khan, Firoj Khan and Akbar Khan.
Dogra Sanghthan organized a program at Balidan Stambh, Jammu to pay homage to the martyrs who got martyrdom in a cowardly attack by the coward terrorists in Pulwama last year. President of the Sanghthan Amit Kapoor, BJP State President Ravinder Raina, Chairman Naveen Chopra, Senior Vice-President Dogra Sanghthan Munish Gupta, Vice-President Ajay Dogra, Youth President Akbar Ali, General Secretary Dalip Duggal, Secretary Deepak Nagi, Vice-President Youth Kaka Singh, Women Wing President Rajni Thakur, Vice-President Women Wing Smily Kour, President Public Rights Foundation Amandeep Singh Boparai, Divyansh Baba and Priya along with the little children of the schools paid homage and observed silence of two minutes for the brave hearts who laid down there lives for the nation.
Nat Manch paid tribute to the 40 CRPF jawans, who lost their lives in the terror attack in Pulwama last year. Nat Manch Samba District President Ranjeet Singh Rajput said martyrs made supreme sacrifice and devoted their precious lives in serving and protecting the nation last year. Nat Manch Founder and President Tarun Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Ankit Gupta, Sanjay Kumar and Dr Sanju Lal Sahu were among others present on the occasion.
Remembering the CRPF personnel who were martyred during the dastardly attack in Pulwama on this day, the workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of Youth President Abhishek Gupta paid tributes to them. The party workers observed silence for a few minutes and remembered the 4 soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama attack. The party workers present were Ashish, Prem, Bantu, Kalu, Narendra, Kalu, Bansi, etc.
Jammu Kashmir Freedom Fighter Association (JKFFA) remembered the CRPF personnel martyred in the Pulwama terrorist attack last year and extended solidarity with their families. On the occasion, Chairman of association Ved Gandotra, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Vice Chairman of JKFFA and SRS J&K President Rajiv Mahajan, RC Puri, President JKFFA, Karnail Chand, Rajinder Singh, JJ Singh, SS Baloria, Dr Karan Gupta, Pritam Sharma and many others were present.
ABVP Unit of Government Degree College Kathua paid tribute to the soldiers of the CRPF on the first anniversary of the Pulwama attack at Government Degree College Kathua. On the occasion Principal of college Prof Asha Ram, professors, student and staff paid floral tribute to Pulwama martyrs who has scarifies thier lives for the mother land in militants attack taken place at Pulwama.
ABVP Jammu organized a Shradhanjali Rath Yatra to pay tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama attack. The Rath Yatra was flagged off by Suneet Raina, Corporator JMC. ABVP rath yatra entered Parade College where ABVP State Joint Secretary Nandita Sharma and College Unit Secretary Yashaswini Rajwal welcomed the rath alongwith more than 300 students. At various locations, the Rath was welcomed by Brijesh Gupta Vice President Pharmaceutical Association Jammu, Prem Gupta, Ramesh Sabarwal, Akash Bhagat MAM College Unit President, Shubam Amar JU Unit President ABVP, GCW Gandhi Nagar Unit Tanisha Salaria, Divya Angotra, Zaiba, Kajal, President Trikuta Nagar Market Association, Gandhi Nagar Market Association led by Sanjay, Narinder Gupta (Koki) President Sanjay Nagar Market Association and members of Nai Basti Market Association. The media persons were addressed by Prateek Raina City Secretary, ABVP Jammu.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Udhampur paid tributes of Pulwama martyrs in Government Degree College (Boys) Udhampur, Government Women College Udhampur and ITI College udhampur. The students gathered at their respective colleges and lit candles to pay tributes to Pulwama martyrs. A Tiranga Rally was taken out by the students of GDC Boys. Speaking to the media persons, Razia and Naresh Kumar briefed about the importance of the day. City Secretary Ajay Singh, Joint secretary Hardeep Jamwal, College Secretary Anshu, College Joint Secretary Manoj Verma, Sunil Kumar and Pardeep Singh were present.
Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association Kathua led by its Chairman Capt Gian Singh Pathania paid floral tributes to Pulwama martyrs. The members of the Association garlanded the portrait of the Pulwama martyes.
Reasi youths today remembered the brave martyrs who lost their lives in the gruesome Pulwama attack last year. They took out a march with candles in their hand and raised slogans in favour of martyrs. The march started from Zanana Park Reasi and culminated at Bus Stand Reasi.
92.7 Big FM commemorates the valour of Pulwama Martyrs and dedicated the whole day for bravehearts and their families who lost their lives in Pulwama attacks on 14th February 2019. Pertinent to mention Big FM received tremendous messages, wishes and phone calls throughout the day from across India and even listeners called from USA and other countries. RJ Juhie’s 14 hours marathon was very well supported by prominent personalities across different spheres who were present in Big FM studios. Amongst the guests were the serving personnel from CRPF, J&K Police, SSB, J&K Fire and Emergency Services as well as veterans from Indian Army and martyrs families.
Shrandjali Sabha was organized by Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad Bhadarwah at Seri Bazaar to pay tributes to National heroes who lost their lives while protecting motherland and for the sake of millions of people. The people participating in Shrandjali Sabha paid tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama. Speeches were delivered by various leaders of ABVP namely Vishal Manhas and Manjeet Kumar. Among others present were Amit Kumar Joint Secretary, Vishal Singh (SSI), Kashish Gupta Media Incharge and Manjeet Kumar City Vice President.
Social Club Samba paid tribute to 40 CRPF jawans who were martyred in terrorist attack on February 14, 2019 in Pulwama. A candle march was organized, which started from the link road of Samba and culminated at main Chowk Samba. Among others present were Sunil Gupta, Ajay Singh, Ranju Gupta, Kamal Kumar, Ravinder Kumar Kamal Patti, Shiv Ram, Bindu Nimana and Faqir Chand.
Border Youth Forum organized a programme to pay tributes to Pulwama martyrs. Jaidev Singh of the Border Youth Forum in Paloura, BJP leader and former OBC chairman Rashpal Verma, Former MLA Kuldeep Raj, BJP District President Amar Singh, Former MLA Durgadas, BJP Leader Geeta Bhagat, Sarpanch Anita and BDC Chairman Radhe Sham also paid tribute to the martyrs. J&K Political Migrants Front led by its Chairman Shiekh Mohi-ud-Din Shabnam paid tributes to security forces who laid down their lives in terrorist attack in Pulwama last year and said that they will be remembered till the existence of this world. The other functionaries of the Front who paid floral tributes to the martyrs included Nanak Singh Bedi, Parvez Hilal, Bal Krishan Bhat ,Aaya Singh and Nisar Ahmed.
All India Students Federation (AISF) and National Secular Forum (NSF) jointly paid rich tributes to Pulwama martyrs on their first death anniversary at University of Jammu. On the day, both the organizations lighted the candles and observed 5 minutes silence for the peace of the departed souls. They said citizens should always be ready to defend the nation from external enemies and appealed the public and intelligence agencies to be alert..
