It was on this day in 2003 when terrorists struck in the mid night in this village and killed these innocent people which includes 11 men, 11 women and two infants. Kashmiri separatists movement against India has given Kashmiri Pandits blood ridden bodies and exodus as a gift for being nationalists, said a survivor of the massacre.
He said till date none of the perpetrators has been punished rather stories are made to satisfy that the alleged perpetrators have been killed in encounters of which in real no record exists. He said Nadimarg is one of these incidents as an example that has torn apart the claim of fake co-existence and secularism which is being boosted by everyone in Kashmir whether from mainstream or from separatist camp.
These innocent victims were those who continued to live at their place even after majority of the community left the Kashmir Valley because of forced exodus. Since 19 years have passed but nothing has been done to punish the culprits and justice has not been provided to the victims.
The proceedings were conducted by Priyanka Bhat.
