Trial Court seeks CD in Dy AG attack case

Srinagar, Aug 25: The Trial Court has called for Case Dairy in challan against the accused involved in threatening the former Deputy Advocate General and practising lawyer of High Court.
Victim-Asheesh Singh Kotwal, Former Deputy Advocate General had lodged a complaint against accused Ramneck Singh, son of Gurbachan Singh resident of Village Sunderpur , R.S. Pura Jammu and Mohinder Pal Singh, son of Late Bachitter Singh seeking directions to Senior Superintendent of Police Miran Sahib Jammu to register FIR against the accused under Sections 307 / 395 / 397 / 458 / 120 – B of Indian Penal Code Read with 3/25 & 4/25 of Arms Act
It was on 19.04.2022 the applicant-Kotwal had gone to his field for harvesting the wheat crop. Suddenly the non-applicants along with a gang of more than five with heavily armed miscreants entered into the land another machine with an intention to take the wheat crop from the land of the applicant.
Immediately the applicant called the SHO, Miran Sahib from his mobile who acted promptly sent two police personnel on the spot , thereby stopped the machine from further cutting the crops, after seeing the police all the Gunda elements including the non – applicants left the spot .
Suddenly the non- applicants along with 5-6 people entered in the land with pistol and tokas with an intention to cause harm to the applicant and the crops, when the applicant objected the non- applicants for their illegal acts they showed sharp side of toka and pistol to the applicant and Ramneck showed pistol and extended threat of life.
