JAMMU, Aug 25: For the implementation of Centrally sponsored Project ‘Computerization of Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS), Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted UT Level and District Level Monitoring Committees.
The UT Level Implementation and Monitoring Committee (UTLIMC), headed by Administrative Secretary, Cooperative Department as the Chairperson, shall implement approved guidelines of Computerization of PACS at UT Level and provide feedback to the National Level Implementation and Monitoring Committee (NLIMC).
It shall guide and steer the implementation of the projects in the UT besides examining and recommending proposals to be taken up under this Project.
Representative of Finance Department, registrar Cooperative Societies, J&K, Chief General Manager (CGM), NABARD, J&K and MD/CEO of J&K Cooperative Bank are members of UTLIMC.
The District Level Implementation and Monitoring Committee(s) are headed by the concerned District Development Commissioner and shall act as the first line of implementation and monitoring system within the overall framework.
It shall provide necessary support such as power, connectivity etc and identify PACS to be funded under the project as per eligibility and feasibility norms and recommend the same to the UTLIMC.
Concerned Dy Registrar Cooperative and District Development Manager NABARD are members of DLIMC.
