JAMMU, Sept 24: The transporters from J&K have demanded fast track investigation into the murder of Chairman of All J&K Transport Welfare Association, T S Wazir.
Ex-MLC of National Conference, Wazir was murdered in Delhi during early this month when he was to fly to Canada to see his family.

While addressing a press conference, senior members of the Association including Vijay Singh Chib, said that though Crime Branch of Delhi Police was investigating the case, yet real culprits were still at large. They said even after 22 days of the murder, the accused could not be arrested.
They demanded that Delhi Police and all other allied agencies including J&K Police must look into the conspiracy behind the murder of Late Wazir, who was a popular and secular voice of people in J&K. He was a strong pillar of development of transport in J&K and led the industry for about 40 long years. With his tragic end, the transport sector in J&K has been badly shattered.
The members of J&K Transport Welfare Association appealed to the Lt Governor of J&K UT, Manoj Sinha to intervene into the matter personally so that accused involved into the murder are arrested and put behind the bars, otherwise, the transporters and operators in J&K will be left with no other option except to launch indefinite agitation/strike.
