JAMMU, Feb 8: In order to augment and strengthen the skills of gardeners of Shri Mata Vaisho Devi Shrine Board, Katra, Department of Floriculture Jammu organized week long training programme at Green Belt Park, Gandhi Nagar, here.
The training programme was inaugurated by AK Gupta, Director Floriculture Jammu. On the occasion, Director Floriculture Jammu said that such programmes will enhance the skills of the gardeners and will go a long way in beautification of the holy town of Katra and enroute shrine.
He also stressed for conducting such training programmes on regular basis.
Incharge training, Dr Rabia Bano Khan, Assistant Floriculture Officer, Green Belt Park, Jammu gave a brief detail of training programme, which will focus on both practical and theoretical aspects of gardening.
