JAMMU, Feb 8: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and member, J&K State Advisory Board for Gujjars and Bakerwals, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that hands of party chief, Mehbooba Mufti, must be strengthened, as PDP is not merely an outfit but a movement which is committed to socio-economic development of the State irrespective of caste, creed, region or religion.
He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was for maintaining a fine balance between economic developments and addressing socio-political aspirations of people in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. “Now that he is no more and party has suffered an irreparable loss, every effort should be put in to realize his dreams”, he asserted in a statement issued here.
