RAMBAN, July 3: The District Administration Ramban has imposed restrictions on the movement of vehicular traffic on Ramban-Maitra road after sinking of a portion of road today.
Official sources said that due to sinking of a portion of road in the south of Jhula bridge at Ramban over river Chenab, the road has become dangerous for the safety of the commuters. The National Highway Authority of India have decided to undertake repair work at this portion.
In view of sinking of road and undertaking repair work by NHAI, the District Administration Ramban restricted the movement of vehicles on this road till the repair work is completed, the sources added.
