JAMMU, Nov 17: To draw attention of the Government towards long pending demands of daily rated workers, Anganwadi workers and class IV employees in various departments, J&K National Trade Union Front is going to organize a protest demonstration on November 22 near Press Club Jammu.
This was announced by JKNTUF president Mohd Gafoor Dar while talking to media persons, here today.
“The protest is being organized for highlighting the burning issues like regularization of daily rated workers, release of honorarium of Anganwadi workers, change of designation of helpers of Irrigation, Flood Control and Wildlife Departments as per the Cabinet decision, implementation of agreement signed between Government and JCC, enhancement of Medical Allowance and holding of pending DPC of various departments”, he said and appealed all the casual labours and Anganwadi workers to participate in the scheduled protest demonstration on November 22.
Mr Dar also informed that the JKNTUF will also organize a State level conference on November 23 at Boys Polytechnic near Bikram Chowk Jammu where threadbare discussion and debate would be held on important issues of the trade union.
Others, who were present in the press conference, included Rajinder Kumar, Nazeer Ahmed Molvi, Vikramjeet Singh, Molvi Muneer Ahmed, Javid Malik, Subash Baru, Nazeer Ahmed, Gh Mohd Malik, Ranjeet Singh, Ajay Kumar, Goutam Raina and Devinder Singh.
