JAMMU, July 11: All J&K Electric Department Linemen & Workers Union (EDLWU) here today demanded constitution of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) by July 15-16 and has threatened that if this not happened then they will go for a tool down strike.
In a press conference here today Anil Singh Slathia, Senior Vice President of the Union further demanded regularization of daily wagers and release of wages of employees who have been appointed on need basis.
Ashiq Hussain, Pawan Sharma, Tarun Gupta and others were also present in the meeting.
