JAMMU, Oct 14: The residents attended a meeting, which was conducted under the banner of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS).
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of its President Rajinder P Kakkar regarding the site allotted for power distribution station of PDD for Trikuta Nagar Colony.
The residents of Trikuta Nagar Colony said that the land allotted to PDD by JDA is pertaining to developed park by construction of two numbers steel foot bridges, park lights and reconstruction of entrance gate with granite tiles.
“We don’t understand the attitude of both the authorities that after spending huge funds, how they allotted such piece of land which is green belt and functional as lungs of Trikuta Nagar Colony for power distribution station of PDD” they added.
The residents appealed to KK Sharma and K Vijay Kumar, Advisors to Governor for issuing directions for shifting of power distribution station of PDD to some other place, failing which they will protest in the aggressive manner.
