JAMMU, Feb 18: To discuss the pressing issue of water shortage in Ward 54 of Trikuta Nagar, a delegation of Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS), met Vikas Sharma, Chief Engineer, Sunil Gandotra, Superintendent Engineer and Ashish Sharma, Executive Engineer, Public Health Department.
The delegation was led by Rajinder Kakar, president of TNWS.
During their meeting, Kakar highlighted the need for increased water supply hours to meet the demands of the residents of Trikuta Nagar, Sect-9/8/7/6/5.
Detailed discussion was held with the concerned authorities with regard to the persistent water shortage of the locality.
Additionally, he requested the installation of a new tube well to supplement the existing water supply.
The Chief Engineer directed the concerned engineers to take necessary steps to resolve the issue.
Amongst others who were present during the meeting included R K Kokroo, Kewal Sheer and Amarjeet Singh.
