Titiksha 2K15 concludes at SMVDU

KATRA, Feb 23: Titiksha – the annual technical festival of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, concluded yesterday with a big bang in the University.
The main highlights of the evening were Robo-Matrix, Scratch, Takeshi’s Castle, Lift it up and many more. Another significant feature of Titiksha  2K15 was a conference of ICRTAET – a conference for research papers’ presentation.
The chief guest in the valedictory programme was  Prof  Mukhopadhyay, Dean, Faculty of Management while  Dr  Vipin Kakkar was the guest of honour. Award were  distributed to the winners of various events and to the event coordinators. In continuation to this, mementoes were also distributed among the committee members.
During the festival,  the participating students innovated in Robo-events wherein they played racing, soccer and line-follow-up. Students of Mechanical engineering made wooden boats as part of lift-it RIP event to exhibit their technical creative skills. As a  small effort to be a  part of Clean India Drive, students fabricated an automatic dustbin grabber to promote cleanliness in the salubrious campus of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. Hitch-hikking was another creative endeavour by students which was enjoyed fully by the participants.
Sanjay Dogra, presented an excellent dance performance in the valedictory function. The chief coordinators for the event were Rohit Bhatt  and Gaurav Pandey and Branch coordinators were Bhupendra P  Singh, Shivani Bhardwaj, Nayan Tiwari and Sipika Garg. Dr  Rakesh K  Jha gave the vote of thanks. Student coordinator, Daud Shareef gave a report of  TITIKSHA 2K15.  Himanshu Garg played a vital role in bringing sponsorship.
