Tipper rams into parked vehicles at Bathindi, driver injured

JAMMU, Sept 11: A tipper driver sustained injuries after his vehicle, which was being driven rashly, rammed into several parked two-wheelers in the Bathindi area here today.

Police said the tipper, driven by Des Raj, 60, son of late Bhagat Ram and resident of RS Pura, hit five two-wheelers at Vidhata Nagar, opposite Lane Number 7, before crashing into a wall.

The driver was injured in the incident and shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for treatment, they said.

Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at the concerned police station and further investigation is underway, police said.
