JAMMU, Mar 27: TI Cycles of India, one of the leading bicycle manufacturers in India, and a part of the Murugappa Group, together with Harbhajan Singh & Sons today launched its brand new bicycle retail format ‘Track & Trail Sport’ in Jammu.
The retail store which will have a whole host of cycles ranging from as low as INR 2,500 to as high as INR 250,000 will be available for cycling enthusiasts in Jammu.
The store was inaugurated by former Minister, Raman Bhalla, while Balvinder Singh,Franchisee and owner of Harbhajan Singh & Sons and Sheriyar Unwalla, Retail Head of TI Cycles of India were present on the occasion.
This launch marks the entry of TI Cycle’s new retail avatar which is a “One stop shop for all one’s cycling needs” – be it purchasing or servicing of bicycles, fitness equipment, spares and accessories, renting of bicycles, hub for organized rides.
Speaking on the occasion, Balvindar Singh said, “We are very excited to launch the first Track & Trail store in Jammu. There is a growing passion for cycling in the region and the Track & Trail store, with it’s wide range of products will help propel the sport in the region.”
Sheriyar Unwalla said “The company is shifting its focus from selling bicycles to selling cycling as a sport. Gone are the days where cycles were considered as a mode of transport for those who could not afford a motorcycle or car. Many people are now taking to cycling for recreation, health, sport or even as a choice of commute.”
The store will feature TI Cycle’s domestic brands like BSA, Hercules, Roadeo, Ladybird and the newly launched Mach City as well as world-renowned international brands like Ridley, Bianchi, Cannondale, Schwinn, GT, Mongoose and Montra all under one roof.
