JAMMU, Feb 18: Three persons were arrested with 15 grams of heroin-like-substance from Bishnah area here today.
During routine patrolling at Chak Bana area of Bishnah, three suspects were intercepted for checking, but they tried to flee on seeing the police, a police official said.
However, they were apprehended, and on their search, 15 grams of heroin-like-substance was recovered, he said.
The accused identified as Rakesh Kumar Choudhary of Bana Chak, Bishnah, Jeet Raj and Navjot Singh, both residents of Khour Dunian, Tehsil RS Pura, were accordingly booked in case FIR number 16/2025 under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation started, added the police official.
