JAMMU, Aug 12: Chinore police arrested three thieves for burglary in a chemist shop and attempting to loot UCO Bank at Thattar.
As per police sources, some unidentified thieves barged into a chemist shop at Thattar and decamped with cash and medicine. They also tried to loot UCO Bank at Thathar, but remained unsuccessful.
In this regard, a case under FIR Number 249/15 was registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
On specific inputs, police team from Chinore police post finally arrested the thieves along with stolen cash and medicines.
The accused have been identified as Farman, son of Sher Mohammad of Upper Thather, Ashiq Hussain, son of Azim Din of Tuli Budhal and Farooq of Mahore.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Chinore police post SI Vikram Singh Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana police station Inspector Rajinder Sharma, SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
