Think beyond horizon to succeed: DIG to students

KATHUA, May 30: DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Ranger Ashkoor Ahmed Wani asked the students especially girls to think beyond horizon to succeed in life.
He stated this after inaugurating water cooler with water purifier installed at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Kathua. The water cooler with purifier has been dedicated to School under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
DIG was accompanied by Neeva Jain, SSP Kathua, Rajnish Pran, SSP SO to DIG JSK Range, Khalil Ahmed, Additional SP Kathua, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Deputy Headquarters Kathua and Kuljeet Singh, DySP DAR.
DIG Jammu while interacted with students, staff and prominent citizens of the area emphasized for better co-operation with police. He added that girls are at par with boys as they are excelling in every field whether it is Defence or Space. “Girls are flying fighter jets in Indian Airforce and are equally excelling in other fields as well”, he said and asked students to keep their school neat and clean and follow Sawach Bharat Abhiyan.
Principal of the School Sunita Sambyal, Naresh Sharma and Surinder Singh also expressed their views.
Later, DIG JSK Range held crime meeting in Police Station Kathua and imparted necessary directions to the officer with regard to controlling drug abuse, traffic violations and theft cases in their area of responsibility.
