JAMMU, May 30: Promising young player of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Akalpur Morh namely Gourav Sharma brought laurels to the school by winning gold medal in Indo-Bhutan Thaiboxing Championship held recently in Bhutan.
Gourav Sharma was well prepared and trained by the Technical Director of J&K Thaiboxing Federation Keshav Singh along with School Sports Teacher Joginder Singh.
School Principal Prof Annapurna Koul, presented the winning medal to the Gourav in a function held in school premises.
She said that sports teacher Joginder Singh plays a vital role in training the players and sending them for participation in the different championships.
