JAMMU, Dec 10: Nowabad Police arrested a thief along with stolen scooty.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Stanzin Norboo with Police Station Nowabad stating that he uploaded a deal on OLX for selling his scooty and a buyer called him at Canal Road along with scooty to finalize the deal.
While the complainant got busy on mobile phone, the buyer fled away with his scooty bearing registration number JK02AX-2031.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
With hectic efforts and technical assistance, a team from Nowabad Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Jasrotia arrested the accused identified as Shivam Gupta, son of Naresh Gupta of Langar Kunjwani along with stolen scooty.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
