Theme song of IFFI 2019 released 

NEW DELHI: The Theme song of the 50th edition of the international film festival of India, to be held at Goa from November 20, was released by Information and Broadcasting secretary Amit Khare on Wednesday.

The Theme song, that has been prepared from the clippings of films like ‘Gandhi’, ‘Awara’ and ‘Bahubali’ among popular Indian and international films, was released by Mr Khare along with famous dancer Gita Chandran, Grammy award winner Rikki roz and chairman of the organizing committee for the festival Rahul Rawail, at a function here.

The Theme song will be shown at the inauguration of the 50th IFFI on November 20.  The song has been prepared by Mrs Gita Chandran along with Riki roz.

Addressing reporters, Mr Khare said that as many as 76 countries will participate in the 50th edition of the IFFI where more than 200 films will be shown. He said that a brilliant Theme song has been prepared for the inauguration by Mrs Gita Chandran and Riki Roz   The Theme song has been prepared by the national film development corporation.

Speaking about the Theme song, Mrs Gita Chandran said that the song has been prepared from clippings of 55 selected films which include ‘Maqbool’, ‘Salaam Bombay and “Taare Zameen par’. The Theme song also contains footage of
