POONCH, Feb 19: The police claimed to have solved a theft case and recovered stolen property within 24 hours of the incident in Poonch district.
A police official said that today, (Feb 18), a complaint was lodged at Poonch Police Station regarding a theft incident. On this a case FIR No.27/2025 u/s 303(2) BNS was registered.
Acting swiftly, a dedicated team led by IC PP Jhullas, under the close supervision of SHO Poonch, initiated an investigation.
Using technical surveillance and human intelligence, the police identified and apprehended the accused, Irfan Ahmed son of Mohd Razaq and Ifraz Hussain, son of Mehmood Hussain, both residents of Dara Dhullian, Poonch and recovered the stolen items from them.
The accused were booked under relevant sections of the law, and further investigation is underway to ascertain any possible links to other crimes.Theft solved, stolen property recovered
