Theft case worked out, stolen electronic items recovered, one held

SAMBA, May 6: Police worked out a theft case and recovered stolen electronic items which had been stolen from the showroom by the chowkidar of the said showroom who was arrested by Police today.
Reports said that Samba Police apprehended accused person Ankush S/o Baldev Raj R/o Swankha Morh, Vijaypur in a theft case FIR No. 55/2014 U/S 380 RPC registered in Police Station Vijaypur and on his disclosure recovered stolen property i.e. one Window Air Conditioner, one transformer, one inverter and one water cooler from his residence which he had stolen during the intervening night of May 4 & 5 from the M/s Surya Motors, Swankha Morh, Vijaypur.
Pertinent to mention here that the Ankush was working at the showroom as chowkidar and on the intervening night of May 4 & 5 he had stolen these items from the showroom. The owner of the showroom reported the matter to Vijaypur Police early in the morning and the Police arrested the chowkidar and during questioning he broke down and narrated the theft made by him.
