Theft case solved, two arrested

RAMBAN, Dec 24: Police worked out a theft case with the arrested of two persons.
As per police sources, on December 21 this year, a person namely Kripal Singh, son of Bahadur Singh of Demote with Police Station Ramban that during the intervening night of December 20 and 21 this year, some unknown person (s) had stolen the 2 tyres of his Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK14-1652 near Cafeteria Morh Ramban.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 219/2021 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team led by PSI Meenakshi was constituted under the supervision of SHO Ramban Inspector Sandeep Charak, DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
After strenuous efforts, the team arrested two thieves and confessed their involvement in the aforesaid case and disclose the fact that they had stolen the tyres and had used in vehicle bearing registration number JK19-0737. Both the tyres were recovered on the disclosure of the arrested thieves.
The arrested persons were identified as Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Shamdin and Mohammad Sadeeq, son of Noor Aliahi, both residents of Seri, Bhagana, District Ramban.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
