JAMMU, Dec 24: Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-Jammu, is organizing “Jammu’s 1st Cat Show” on 30th December, 2021.
The first of its kind show in Jammu shall be organized at 11:30 AM onwards, during the three-day Vet-Fest 2021 “Meraki” at R S Pura Campus.
This was informed by Prof M S Bhadwal, Dean, FVSc & AH, R S Pura, during media briefing, here today. He highlighted the different activities to be taken place during the VetFest 2021 in general and Cat Show in particular.
In the Cat Show, cats will be adjudged under different categories like Fancy Dress competition, Ramp Walk Winner, Best in the Cat Breed, Best Kitten and Overall Champion of the Cat Show. All the participants will be given certificates, medals and assured gift hampers.
Leading cat practitioners of Jammu, Punjab and Delhi will be the guests and shall adjudge the cats under different categories of the show. During the ‘Cat show’ different pharmaceutical, diagnostic and cat feed companies of India will also display their products in stalls and will provide free gift hampers for all the cat lovers.
