JAMMU, Dec 28: National ICT award winner, Mohd Ayaz Raina-a teacher at Govt Boys Model Higher Secondary School Thanna Mandi has once again brought laurels to J&K in general and Pir Panjal region in particular by winning two prestigious awards in recently held International Educational E-content Festival, 2020 conducted by Universal Teachers Academy (UTA), Puducherry.
UTA-an international non profit organization dedicated to develop the skills of the teachers through ICT mode so that they can provide quality education and life-long learning to the students.
To develop ICT skills of the teachers-students and integration of ICT in pedagogy, International Educational E-content Festival (IEEF), 2020 was organised & entries were sought from teachers in four categories-educational posters, educational gifs, educational videos and educational tutorials.
The 948 entries received by UTA were subjected to three rounds of evaluation by the special jury to arrive at 12 winners.
Ayaz Raina bagged the best Educational Poster Global Award, 2020 and also jury winner best educational GIF global award, 2020.
The awards were given to the winners by Dr. S. Asir Julius from SCERT, Chennai and Dr. M. Doss Freelancer ELT, from Directorate of School Education, Puducherry.
The function was organized online by UTA and awards of winners were been routed to their recipient addresses.
